Campaign summary
Registered users sign in to Roovie Collaborate at https://portal.roovie.com and choose to enable SMS in their notification settings. They provide their mobile number and verify it with a verification code. SMS consent covers messages from other Roovie users in their conversations and projects, project-message alerts, mentions, approval requests, and operational messages from Roovie about their account, projects, or use of the platform. SMS replies are routed to the associated conversation. Recipients can reply STOP to unsubscribe, START or UNSTOP to resubscribe, and HELP for assistance. Advertising and promotional messages are outside this campaign.
Who sends these messages
Text messages are sent by Roovie, operated by NanoTech Energy Services, on behalf of Roovie Collaborate — the messaging and project collaboration space inside the Roovie client portal.

Terms and conditions
Your use of Roovie, including text messaging, is governed by the Roovie end user agreement below.
End user agreement
Effective October 5, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
This End User Agreement (the "Agreement") is between you and NanoTech Energy Services, which operates Roovie ("Roovie," "we," "us"). It governs your use of the Roovie client portal at portal.roovie.com, Roovie Collaborate, the Roovie mobile applications, and related messaging and services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept this Agreement for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If your organization has a separate written agreement with Roovie, that agreement controls where it conflicts with this one.
2. Accounts and access
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to give accurate account information and keep it current.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Access to organization workspaces, projects, and buildings is granted by the organization or service provider that invited you. They may change or remove your access at any time.
3. Your license to use the Service
Subject to this Agreement, Roovie grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes and those of the organization you use it for.
Roovie and its licensors keep all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, simulation engine, models, templates, designs, and trademarks. No rights are granted except those expressly stated here.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation, or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or advertising through Roovie Collaborate, including by text message.
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person, or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful.
- Access data, workspaces, or accounts you are not authorized to access, or probe, scan, or test the Service's security without written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or place an unreasonable load on its infrastructure.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as the law expressly permits.
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties outside the access your organization has granted.
5. Your content and collaboration
You keep ownership of the building data, documents, messages, and other content you or your organization submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Roovie a license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service.
Content you share in a conversation, project, or workspace is visible to the other participants who have access to it. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to share it.
Roovie may remove content that violates this Agreement or the law, and may retain content as required by law or for legitimate business records.
6. Text messages and notifications
Text messaging (SMS) is optional and off until you enable it in your notification settings and verify your mobile number. The SMS terms and campaign policy on this page govern those messages and form part of this Agreement.
You can reply STOP to unsubscribe, START or UNSTOP to resubscribe, and HELP for assistance, or turn text messages off in your notification settings at any time. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
Roovie may send you service email and in-app notifications about your account, projects, security, and billing. These are part of the Service and are not marketing.
7. Energy models and engineering results
The Service produces energy models, simulations, load calculations, equipment sizing, compliance checks, cost and savings estimates, and similar results. These results depend on the inputs, assumptions, weather data, and standards used, and are estimates — actual building performance, costs, and savings will differ.
Results are tools to support professional judgment, not a substitute for it. You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them, and for having a qualified, licensed professional approve any design, compliance submission, or construction decision where required.
8. Fees and credits
Some features require a paid plan or use credits. Prices, plan limits, and credit costs are shown in the Service or in your organization's order. Fees are billed to the organization that holds the subscription, are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise, and exclude taxes.
Roovie may change prices or plans with advance notice. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing period.
9. Privacy and security
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information, and forms part of this Agreement. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Your Content.
Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages you opted into, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Improving Roovie's agents
Roovie reviews how its AI agents perform, including your conversations with them, the tools they use and whether their proposals are accepted, changed or undone, to measure and improve the Service. Reviews are carried out by automated systems and by Roovie staff.
Before a review is used for engineering work, we remove names, contact details and addresses that identify you, your organization or your buildings. We do not share one customer's content with another.
11. Third-party services
The Service may connect to third-party services you choose to use, such as ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, utility data providers, messaging carriers, and mapping providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and Roovie is not responsible for them.
12. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, you allow Roovie to use them without restriction or obligation to you.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. Roovie may suspend or end your access if you breach this Agreement, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will give notice first.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law — survive.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOVIE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ROOVIE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TEXT MESSAGES WILL BE DELIVERED. CARRIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DELAYED OR UNDELIVERED MESSAGES.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOVIE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SAVINGS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
ROOVIE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
16. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Roovie against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of this Agreement, or your violation of law or anyone's rights.
17. Changes to this Agreement
Roovie may update this Agreement. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, give notice in the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
18. General
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which NanoTech Energy Services is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any part of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement without Roovie's consent; Roovie may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
This Agreement, together with the SMS terms, the Privacy Policy, and any order your organization has signed, is the entire agreement between you and Roovie about the Service.
